My wife dropping her crockpot lid and shattering the handle may be a sad day for her, but for me, it’s another chance at proving my 3D printer was worth it!
For Part 5, I’m not just replacing a handle; I’m upgrading it. I used PETG for heat resistance and modeled a custom "anti-roll" flat top so the lid stays put on the counter. Plus, I finally tried a "pause-at-layer" print to lock the original threaded insert directly into the part.
The best part? I added a hidden clip for the meat thermometer. One less mess on the counter and one more win for the workshop.
