Gothic Remake to zapowiedziane aż w 2019 roku odświeżenie pierwszej części kultowej (przynajmniej w Polsce) serii. Akcja gry dzieje się na terenie Górniczej Doliny, konkretnie magicznego więzienia w postaci bariery, przez którą nie można się wydostać. To bardzo niebezpieczne miejsce podzielone na różne frakcje, a do tego dochodzą agresywne zwierzęta i orki. Wcielamy się w Bezimiennego, który zostaje zesłany do więzienia za swoje zbrodnie. Na pierwszy rzut oka jest kolejnym mięczakiem, ale wkrótce okazuje się kluczową postacią w centrum wydarzeń. Gothic w oryginale znany był ze swojej sztywnej i "drewnianej" rozgrywki oraz z niezbyt czytelnych mechanik. Czy twórcy zachowali pierwotną esencję? Oryginału nigdy nie lubiłem, żadna część Gothica do mnie nie przemówiła, ale chętnie zobaczę co ma do zaoferowania ten remake ;)
